Welcome to the 68th Sweet Inspiration Link Party!
Glad you met the new team last week! If you didn’t see that, go to the 67th Sweet Inspiration Party.
Jelica and I are enjoying learning the ropes, but we, along with Christina, Mary, and Michelle, genuinely welcome you to this week’s party! And we are looking forward to seeing all your posts and projects!
The party starts on Fridays 3 pm UTC and runs until Tuesday 3 pm UTC or 11 am EST. By joining us every week you will be able to grow your blog and gather inspiration from so many others who link up to our party. We hope you will join us every week to share and inspire with your projects and creations.
And now without further ado, here are our posts for the week~

And Now for This Week’s Features!
If you haven’t seen Lisa’s approach to Date Night yet at The Syncopated Mama, you’re missing a Passport to Fun, what Lisa calls her series. She, her husband, and pre-school daughter “travel” to a different country by dressing the part, eating the food, listening to the music, and playing some fun activities related to that country. It sure sounds like fun to me!
Marie at The Interior Frugalista lovingly restores and repurposes this antique wash stand into a GORGEOUS serving station. Dry brushing, stenciling (and a sweet detail INSIDE) makes this an extra special DIY transformation.
When you see the before of this gorgeous unfinished dresser by Jen of Noting Grace you will understand why I picked it as my feature. The transformation couldn’t have been more stark!
I just love these decorative orbs that Mimi over at Home With Mimi made. You’ll never guess what they were before she waved her magic wand.
Ginger and pears are two of my favorite ingredients for a cake and this cake from Daphne of Ivy Phyllis and Me combines both of them. The upside down look gives to this cake a very interesting appearance.
