As an experienced online seller for 19 years, I've just begun to reveal some of my selling secrets. In my Vintage Finds posts, I show what I buy for resale, and sell for. Because many items are vintage and need TLC, I show these DIY's, and how I refurbish to sell. I love picking, junking, thrifting, and shabby chic style.

  1. I love to read books, make quilts & sew, craft with my grandkids (their imaginations are so cool!) & photography.

  2. I enjoy painting furniture and bringing new life into something old. I love to try new techniques out on canvas paintings.

  3. I love to read, garden, and create beautiful home decor and refurbished furniture. I love vintage everything! If you want something that is made to last, vintage furniture is the way to go. They simply don’t make things of quality, the way they used to. Early American and French Country are my favorite styles.

  4. I like to read and of course CRAFT! DIY home projects, mixed media, polymer clay sculpting, coloring, paper crafts and more. Also love to make terrariums, and miniature gardens. Thanks for the giveaway, I would love to win!

  5. I love to sew and play Words With Friends! One I can do almost anywhere, but when I’m home, I am sewing!

      1. I play “words with Friends” too – it is basically “Scrabble” – it is a great way to kill time in waiting rooms and you can have as many games going at a time – with the same friend or many friends & even people you don’t know.

  6. LOL Florence, I am so tempted to sign up to win but I need to be participating in the giveaway.

      1. Thank you for sharing at Snickerdoodle.

  7. I love to garden and take care of plants, but it’s getting to be too much for me, especially during our Texas summers. I want more time for my jewelry-making, so I am dismantling the flowerbeds. I also read every evening and I enjoy skimming through Pinterest for good recipes and unique jewelry ideas. My favorite thing is helping others and random acts of kindness! Good for my soul.

    1. Bless you Patty for helping others! Yes it is good for the soul. I also love to garden, but it’s getting too much for me too. Totally understand. Like to read too! Good luck with the giveaway!

    1. Wow, you have a lot of hobbies Marlene! I would like to learn to crochet! Lots of people here like to sew too…so interesting what everyone’s hobbies are. Good luck in the Giveaway!

  8. I do a lot of wood working in my free time. I a also like to sew and crochet, right this second I’m taking a break from making paper fidget spinners for my son’s school flea market later this week.

    1. Oh woodworking! That’s something I would like to be proficient with. Also would like to learn crochet sometime. What are “paper fidget spinners”?

    1. Thanks Kim! That video wasn’t easy for me to do, but I got it done. Ha, I know what you mean….I need more time to do my favorite stuff too. Good luck with the Giveaway! I hope you signed up.

    1. You & me both. I love to read too, but usually can’t keep my eyes open very long when I fall into bed…LOL. I’m sure doing family genealogy is fascinating too. Good luck in the Giveaway!

    1. Thank you for the kind words Debra! Yes, us pickers always have a lot of junk, don’t we? I need to downsize a whole lot more. You & I are 2 peas in a pod.

  9. Love these giveaways, even though I have never won any of the great boxes of goodies!!! Hope to be lucky this time as I could use all the great supplies!!!!! Thanks for this great giveaway!!!!

  10. Love creating and crafting beautiful one of a kind items. Thanks so much for this chance to win goodness supplies! God Bless

  11. Trying to learn stenciling. Also, have the supplies to start canning but haven’t tried that yet. Happy to have found your blog through Confessions!

    1. You know the hardest thing to me about stenciling is getting the design centered. After that, it’s easy. Canning is fun too. I’ve done some of that a while back. Glad you are enjoying the blog! What is “Confessions”?

      1. I believe Florence meant Confessions of a Serial DIYer which is how I found you as well, and so glad I did!
I am a crafter, woodworker and love designing! I also love sewing, repurposing and just about anything to do with craft and design! I am pretty versatile. I also love thrifting, Antique malls, flea markets and Etsy and Pinterest! Thank you for the giveaway!

        1. Oh! That makes sense! Well, I’m SO glad y’all found me!! I’m blown away by how many people love sewing! I love all the stuff you love, except my designing skills aren’t the best. Thank you for the kind comments! Good luck in the Giveaway!

    1. I used to do quite a bit of refinishing. Now you talking about WORK! Hahaha, it’s true. The very best of luck in the Giveaway to you Barbara!

  12. I love crafting! I love making wreaths, swags, picture frames, heart-felt wood signs and sewing with my Mom!

  13. Spare time? What’s that? LOL. Just kidding. Honestly I don’t feel like I get much spare time. I work full-time as a nurse. When I am not working I enjoy reading, crafts, and making jewelry

    1. Crissie, I am a nurse too, but retired. I know exactly what you mean! When you’re working, you don’t have much time for anything, & when you’re off, you’re too busy playing catch-up with the essentials! I know exactly!
